Karley Marie Guyer, age 11, a 6th grade student at the Frankfort-Schuyler Central School, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 8th, 2021 in Florida, as a result of injuries sustained in a tragic motor vehicle accident.

She was born on May 5, 2009 in Cooperstown, and is the daughter of Amanda Dye and Charles Guyer. She and her four sisters were raised by their grandmother, Lisa McCarthy.

Karley touched the lives of all who knew her , she dreamt of becoming a teacher in hopes to change the world someday, what she didn’t know is she made the world a better place everyday. Karley taught us all many different things; kindness, friendship, patience, and so much more.

Our Karley created many amazing memories that we will all cherish. She loved to draw and paint with her siblings as much as she could , have flour fights in the kitchen when they baked, talk all night and giggle with her eldest sister. Karley had a radiating smile and a contagious laugh that we will all hold dearly in our memories. She was a bright and free spirit who always knew how to cheer up someone’s day. Karley is so loved and will be deeply missed by all that were lucky enough to know her.

Karley and her family's care has been entrusted to Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5 (corner of Bidleman Road), Little Falls, 315-508-5131. The staff at the funeral home has access to grief counselors upon request.

Relatives and friends are invited to say goodbye to Karley at calling hours which will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at MVFC, Little Falls, from 10am until 1pm. There will be a service following calling hours at 1 pm in the funeral home. Burial will take place privately. Following the services, all are encouraged to attend Karley's benefit, to take place at a time to be announced on Saturday.
