Darry Raymond Dodge

November 3, 1959 ~ August 24, 2018 (age 58)

Schuyler, NY-Darry Raymond Dodge, age 58, of Schuyler, passed away on Friday morning, August 24th, 2018 in the peace and comfort of his farm and home.  He was in the presence of his loved ones when his passing occurred, following a courageous eight month battle with cancer.

He was born on November 3rd, 1959 in Utica, son of the late Curt and Marlene (Borden) Dodge and educated in Whitesboro schools.   He spent his entire life dairy farming and took over the Dodge family farm in 1996.  On August 9, 1986 he was united in marriage with Marianne Vogel in Schuyler; a loving and devoted union of 32 years enjoying every moment of the beautiful life they shared together.  Darry dedicated his whole life to the family farm.  In his spare time, he enjoyed tractor pulls with his purple John Deere 4000 and he also enjoyed truck pulling.  Darry loved hanging out with his best sidekick Cricket.   

Survivors include his devoted family; his wife Marianne at home; his daughter, Jordanna Larish and husband Gavin of Schuyler; a son, Joel Dodge and girlfriend Michelle Dunham of Schuyler; a brother, Dean Dodge of Schuyer; a sister, Diane Zygmunt and husband Bob of Schuyler; sister in law, Jay Vogel; brothers in law, Curt Vogel, Eric and Steph Vogel; nieces and nephews, Jason Dodge, Jacquelyn Zygmunt, Jamie Zygmunt and Fiona and Sabrina Vogel.  Also surviving are numerous cousins and friends and aunts and uncles, including Ken Dodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curt and Marlene Dodge and by a brother, Duane Dodge.
