Whitesboro, NY-Mrs. Robin Hope (Mower) Burke, age 63, of 59 Main St., passed away after a sudden illness on Wednesday morning, May 30, 2018.  Her passing occurred at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford, NY; she had the comfort of her loving family by her side.

She was born in Cooperstown on Dec. 2, 1954, daughter of the late Leland I. and Shirley M. (Hadsell) Mower, Jr., and educated in Richfield Springs schools.  She went on to attend college at Herkimer County Community College.  For many years, she was employed with Dodge Graphic Press, Utica, as a secretary.  Robin was married to Timothy Burke on Oct. 15, 2005, who passed away Nov. 19, 2008, after a blessed three year union.  Prior to their marriage they were together for nearly 18 years enjoying much love and companionship.

Robin loved gardening and loved planting flowers.  She also enjoyed crafts.  Most of all, Robin loved each and every one of her family members unconditionally and had a special fondness for her cat, Curly.  Robin was one of the few Angels on Earth that got sent down to make a lasting impression on everyone whether it was her family or longtime friends, even strangers.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  Robin shared a special, loving bond her granddaughter Gia and enjoyed to cook with her.

She leaves her loving children, Patricia Toher of Little Falls, Michael Toher of Amsterdam and Jonathan Georgia (Sara Munio) of West Winfield; siblings, Debbie Seamon and Butch, Wayne Mower and the late Gerta, James Mower and the late Evelyn, Patricia Bronson (Michael); her cherished grandchildren, Jairus, Gia, Ashlyn, Alison, Alex and Konnor. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; a special Aunt, Jean Bono; special nieces, Grace Mower and Sarah Mower. She also leaves a host of friends at Colonial Laundromat who were very the Richspecial to her.

Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5 (corner of Bidleman Road) between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, has been entrusted with Robin's cremation arrangements.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a memorial celebration of her life from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2018 to take place at the Richfield Springs Municipal Park Pavilion.  Family and friends will offer memories at this time.  Please click above to add to her online memorial.
