Alice Jean (Bunce) Barrett

Prospect, New York-Mrs. Alice Jean (Bunce) Barrett, age 89, of Prospect, NY, most recently of Foltsbrook Center for Nursing and Rehab, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, April 25, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica. She was born in Town of Ohio, on December 28, 1929, daughter of the late Howard Bunce and Marion (Sheppard) Bunce. She was educated in the Poland Central School District.  Alice then married Aldis Barrett, who pre-deceased her in 1989. The GE Company in Utica employed Alice until her retirement. Survivors include her niece, Paula Mosher, of Salisbury Center; her sister, Mildred Mosher of the Foltsbrook Center for Nursing and Rehab; and several nieces and nephews. Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5 (town of Manheim), between Little Falls and St, Johnsville, 315-508-5131, has been entrusted with arrangements for cremation,  A graveside service will take place at Prospect Cemetery, on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10 am.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
