Andrew Gordon

Mr. Andrew “Andy” Gordon age 48, of Mohawk, NY passed away peacefully on May 12th, 2026.

Andy was born in Ilion, NY on July 4th, 1977, to Brian Gordon and Linda Boecke (Douglas). He attended Mohawk and Ilion Schools. Andrew worked for HAPS Tree Removal in Mohawk and also worked doing construction.

Of all things Andy will be remembered for, his kindness, creativity and friendship are those of which will never be forgotten. He was a very talented artist both with music and art. Andy loved to play guitar and had a style of drawing unlike anything else. He also had a great appreciation for wildlife and animals; he had a great fondness for cats.

Andrew is survived by his parents, Brian Gordon (Carrie), his mother, who he shared a very special bond with, Linda Boecke, his children, Makayla Gordon and Michael Gordon, grandchildren; Mason, Weston and Haisley. He also leaves his siblings, Sharleen Gordon-Felshaw (Bryan) and Dana Gordon (Michelle) as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Andy was preceded in passing by his stepfather Charlie Boecke.

A celebration of Andy’s life will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
