Angelo Spagnolo

Mr. Angelo Spagnolo, age 87, of St. Johnsville, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the Little Falls Hospital. 

Angelo was born in Bari, Italy on March 10, 1939, to Nick Spagnolo and Rosina Rotondo. He worked at Nicks Barber Shop in Herkimer, NY for many years, he had a great passion for his job as a Barber and enjoyed gardening at his home. Angelo married Ruth Ballou in 1958, the two shared a loving union of 67 years. Angelo was of the Catholic faith.

Angelo is survived by his beloved wife Ruth Spagnolo, his daughter, Sylvia George and her companion Donald Cotton, his daughter-in-law, Renee Spagnolo, and 3 sisters. His Grandsons; David C. George (Alexandra), Steven P. George (Brittany), Joey Spagnolo and Eddie Gross. He also leaves four great- grandchildren; Amelia, Graceyn, Henry, David & many nieces, nephews & cousins.

He was preceded in passing by his biological mother, Rosina Rotondo, his father, Nick Spagnolo, his step-mother, Sylvia, and his son, Angelo Spagnolo.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal services at this time. Angelo's family would like to thank the Little Falls Hospital Third Floor staff for their exceptional care and compassion during this difficult time. They would also like to thank the staff of the St. Johnsville Nursing Home.
