Mrs. Betty F. Bowler, age 92, of Herkimer, wife of the late Donald M. Bowler, passed away on Thursday, July 28th, 2022 at the St. Luke's Campus of the Mohawk Valley Health System, Town of New Hartford.

Betty was born on August 8, 1929, in Atlanta, GA daughter of the late Charles and Ann (Buckner) Towler and educated in schools in Georgia. She was last employed with the former Standard Desk Factory, Herkimer as an office clerk. On October 11, 1961 she was united in marriage with Donald Marvin Bowler in Atlanta, GA. They moved to Herkimer in 1962. Mr. Bowler passed away on November 26, 2007. Betty resided at the Galinsky Apartments, Herkimer and most recently under the caring staff of the Valley Health Services Assisted Living Facility in East Herkimer. Betty was an amazing individual with a caring and kind spirit and had a unforgettable smile. She will be missed.

In honoring Betty's wishes, a graveside service will commence at 9 am on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer. There are no calling hours.
