St. Johnsville, New York-Mrs. Betty J. Neale, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, Oct. 31st, 2022 at Alpine Center for Rehab and Nursing, Little Falls surrounded by her loving family, where she had been residing.
Betty was born on Jan. 1, 1932 in Amsterdam, daughter of the late Raymond K. and Genevieve (Rae) Johnson. Mrs. Neale was last employed as a housekeeper with Bard College, New York.
Betty loved puzzles and being with her animals especially her cats and the bunny "hoppy" at Alpine Nursing and Rehab. She loved being with her baby dolls which she had several of. She was of the Protestant Faith.
Survivors include her loving family; her children, Linda Guile and husband Harold of Dolgeville, Thomas Jowett and wife Carol of Utica, Ronald Jowett of Mohawk, William Jowett of Salisbury, Tammie LaGrange and husband Harold Stratford and Judy Bauer of Johnstown; many cherished grandchildren, adored great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Jowett in 2021. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Edward Johnson and Shirley Johnson.
Betty's funeral will commence at 10 am on Sunday, November 6, 2022 from the chapel of Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, between St. Johnsville and Little Falls, 315-508-5131, where memories will be shared and her life will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday at MVFC, prior to the service, from 9 am until 10 am. Burial will take place privately. Kindly consider memorial offerings in her name to Alpine Nursing and Rehab Center, 755, E. Monroe St., Little Falls, whose staff took wonderful, loving care of Betty and her family.
