Ilion, NY-Beverly Jean "Bev" Bowman, age 57, of Central Ave., passed away with dignity, early Tuesday morning, July 24, 2018 at the Heritage Home, Utica, which ended her long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 10, 1961, in Herkimer, daughter of the late Howard C.Bowman and Nancy Ann (Anderson) Bowman who resides in Ilion. Bev lived with her mother for many years. She was the world's biggest Pittsburgh Steeler's fan. Bev was at one time employed with Dapper Dan Dry Cleaning along with the Turning Stone Casino. Survivors include her loving and devoted mother at home, Nancy; a beloved son, Christopher and wife Joanne; cherished grandaughter, Emily; aunt, Norina; three close brothers and three close sisters, Peter, James, and Kenneth, Connie, Ellen and Laurie; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Howard K. Bowman on July 20, 2018. In keeping with her wishes, there are no services.
