Town of Danube, New York-Mr. Blair G. Frasier, 72, of Fords Bush Spur Road, Fort Plain (Town of Danube) passed away suddenly on Tuesday morning, October 11, 2022 at his home.

Blair was born on Dec. 22, 1949 in Little Falls, son of the late LeRoy and Caroline (LaValley) Frasier and educated in local schools.  Blair can be remembered by his role as caretaker with the Springfield Center Cemetery, taking care of those during their time of need. In his earlier years, he was employed at the family farm, Frasier Farm, town of Danube. Blair truly loved being outdoors, which included hunting, fishing and camping with his family members.  He loved the occasional hike and will be remembered by telling his stories.

Survivors include his children, Carla Wagner and husband Keith of Virginia, Tanya Harris and husband Chris of Virginia, Paula Stickles and husband Greg of Virginia, Kurt Frasier of Danube, Luke Frasier of Danube, Lacosta Frasier and husband of Arizona, Krista Turner and husband Rusty of Georgia; siblings, Brian, David, Beverly, Brenda; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Royce and siblings, Jeff and Robin.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131 on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 5-7 pm.  A funeral service will commence at the funeral home at 7 pm, also on Tuesday, with the Rev. Chris J. Wintermute, pastor of Little Falls Baptist Church, officiating.  Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Ostrander Cemetery, Danube.
