Bonnie R. View, 73, of Reese Road, Frankfort, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 18, 2020, at her home, following a recent illness.
Bonnie was born on August 29, 1947, in Ilion, the daughter of the late Clifton I. and Louise H. Lewis Franklin and was educated in Richfield Springs schools.
Over the years, she had various jobs that she took great pride including driving bus and most recently as a cashier at Walmart. Bonnie was an avid bowler and loved spending time at the alleys with her family. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, word searches and taking her chances in the lottery with scratch offs. Bonnie was a member of the Oak Ridge Free Methodist Church, Herkimer.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Bonnie and Ron Muffett of Ilion, Edward and Erin View, III of Herkimer, Patrick and Kellie View of Mohawk and Scott View and Danielle Wierzbicki of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Kyle Muffett of Ilion, Brad and Molli View of MA, Mary and Mark Reece of Little Falls, Abbey View and Zachery View, both of Mohawk, Mason View and Liam View, both of NC; her great grandson, Luke View of Little Falls. Bonnie also leaves her siblings, Nancy Melchelke, Ona Morgensen, Clifton Franklin II and Judith Skie and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bonnie was predeceased by her companion, Anthony (Tony) Brandano, and several siblings and other family members.
Bonnie’s funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2020 from Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, Little Falls, with Pastor Christopher Schumske of the Oak Ridge Free Methodist Church, Herkimer, officiating. Internment will occur following the services in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer.
Family and Friends are kindly invited to offer their condolences to the View’s from 12 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2020 at the funeral home until the time of the services.
All Regulations pertaining to COVID-19 with be followed, so we kindly ask that masks are to be worn and social distancing followed to enter the building.

Bonnie and her family’s care have been placed in the trust of Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, Corner of Bidleman Road, between Little Falls and St. Johnsville.
