Frankfort, NY-Christian Michael D'Avolio, age 50, of South Frankfort Street, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, in New Hartford, NY due to a cause that was natural.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 20, 1970, son of the late Michael and Sarah Jane (Harder) D'Avolio. On January 26, 2020 Christian was united in marriage with Michelle Barba. Christian was a devoted, and loving father and husband with a strong dedication to God and his family, that was not easily matched. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He was employed as a mechanic.
He is survived by his loving wife Michelle E.L. D’Avolio of Frankfort; six children: Courtney D. D’Avolio, Samantha L. D’Avolio, Bailey G.M. D’Avolio, Alexander J. D’Avolio, Kristen M. D’Avolio, Kendall A. Perrone, and seven grandchildren; his brother Jason P. D’Avolio and his three daughters.
Christian could always make someone smile. He had a heart of gold. He was a humble man who could admit his flaws and his wrongs. He cherished photos, family, and memories. The family would like to thank Pastor Russ Johnson for being a part of Christians life.
Christian and his family's care has been placed in the trust of Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131. A memorial service will commence at 4 pm on Sunday, July 12, 2020 from the funeral home with the Rev. Russ Johnson, pastor of Abiding Love Ministries, officiating. Relatives and friends are also invited to memorial visitation from 2-4 pm on Sunday at Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations. The family gathered privately to say goodbye to their beloved husband, dad and grandpa at MVFC. Burial will be private.
