Curtiss Burton Tucker

Herkimer, NY-Mr. Curtiss Burton Tucker, age 84, a resident of Valley Health Services, Herkimer, a veteran of the Korean War with the US Navy, passed away on Sunday morning, August 20, 2017 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown. He was born in Little Falls on August 5, 1933 son of the late Everett and Helen (Curtis) Tucker.  He was employed for several years with Remington Arms, Ilion.  Curtiss and his wife, Sandra Lee (Brereton) Tucker were married for 27 year prior to her passing in 2004 and they lived in Spruce Lake. Survivors include his children, Beth Povec Kuehnle (Charlie), Terri Povec, Michael Povec (Debbie), Bernadette Tucker DeMott, Bridget Tucker, Jay Tucker (Laurie) and Joel Tucker (Brenda) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  The family would like to thank Shannon Mamrosh of Ilion for his support.  In lieu of floral offerings kindly consider memorial offerings to the Herkimer County Humane Society.
