David T. Crouth entered his eternal rest on May 8, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Utica. David grew up in Rome and proudly served four years in the Air Force. He and wife, Roberta raised their family and spent their remaining years in Richfield Springs. He was an exemplary employee spanning over forty years for Martin J. Nunn, Rome Tobacco, Herkimer Wholesale and Ames Department Store. David was 85
Survivors include daughters, Debbie Crouth (N. Carolina) Donna (Frank) Manella (Herkimer), five grandchildren, brothers, J. Lawrence (Rome), Gerald (Ballston Spa), sister, Nancy Boughton (Holiday, Fl) and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents, Joseph and Merna (Dunn) Crouth, his wife, Roberta (Baldwin) Crouth (Richfield Springs) and by his brothers, Joseph and John Crouth (Rome).
There are no calling hours. Interment will be a private ceremony at Rome’s St. Peter’s Cemetery at a later date. David and his family's care has been placed in the trust of Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5 (corner of Bidleman Road), Little Falls, 315-508-5131.
