Deborah Mary Debbie Jasper

Herkimer, NY-Deborah “Debbie” Mary (Baker) Jasper, age 61, of Herkimer, passed away unexpectedly on April 19th 2018, in her home.

Born March 28th 1957, in Bethesda, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Lillian (Dineen) Baker.  She is survived by her loving family; her children, Billy Dellar and Wendy Dellar of Kenosha WI, Melissa Jasper and her fiancé Joe Holleran of Ilion, Meghan Jasper and her companion Lj Terzioski of Ilion; nine cherished grandchildren, Karli, Kennedy, Dillion, Riley, Greyson, Landon, Brianna, Peyton, and Aubrey; six siblings, Donna Harrell and husband Jeff Harrell of Clarksville IN, Denise Baker of Arlington VA, Earl Baker of Utica NY, Cynthia Roberts of Port St Lucie FL, Mary Baker of Herkimer, Kathryn Baker and fiancé Phil Klosner of Ilion and a very special friend, Mike Parisi.

Early in her life, Debbie was a secretary at Andrews Air Force Base. Soon after she married, she devoted her life to raising her children. Debbie enjoyed writing and was proud to have one of her poems published. Some of her other passions were cooking and gardening and also enjoyed the company of her cats Baby and Honey. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to her funeral service commencing at 4 pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the new Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5 (town of Manheim) between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131.  There will be a time for visitation prior to the service from 2- 4 p.m., also at the funeral home.
