Dorothy May Laudermilch

August 31, 1938 — June 11, 2019

Mohawk, NY-Dorothy “Dottie” May Laudermilch, age 80, of State Route 28, town of German Flatts, and formerly of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in the presence and comfort of her loved ones.   She was born August 31, 1938, the daughter of the late John W. and Dorothy M. Schaeffer Stoudt Sr.; Dottie was a retired security guard for Bell & Evans, Fredericksburg, PA. She was an Honorary Life Member of the Lebanon County Auxiliary Patrol.  She has resided for the past few years in Mohawk with her surviving granddaughter, Holly A. Day; grandson-in-law Derek J. Day, great-grandson Adin T. Day and her two favorite canine companions Foxxy and Minnie. She is additional survived by grandson Donald “Donnie” R. Laudermilch Jr. of Lebanon; granddaughter JoDonna Laudermilch; brother Donald R. Stoudt Sr. and wife Charlotte of Lebanon, sister Margaret F., wife of Robert W. Arnold of Jonestown, brother Charles W., husband of Cindy Stoudt of Lebanon, brother George M. Stoudt of Jonestown, sister Deloris J. Sowers of Lebanon; 4 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by daughter Donna Marie Laudermilch Tatum, son Donald “Donnie” R. Laudermilch Sr. and brother John W. Stoudt Jr., Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements. In keeping Dottie’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Heartfelt love and gratitude are extended to the entire staff of Hospice & Palliative Care for their kindness, compassion and professionalism throughout Dottie’s remaining days at home with family.
