Dorothy "Dotty" Mosher

Mrs. Dorothy B. "Dotty" Mosher, age 77, of Race Street, Ilion (Town of Frankfort), passed away peacefully at her home.

She was born in Gilboa, NY on September 5, 1947, daughter of the late Anton and Ruby (Rockwell) Osen and educated in Berne schools. She was united in marriage with Donald A. Mosher on Oct. 1, 1966, in Herkimer. Dottie owned and operated a cleaning business in the Mohawk Valley for over 30 years. Dottie enjoyed tending to her flowers.

Survivors include her husband Donald at home; her children, Donal Mosher of Seattle, WA, Donna Barrett and husband Jim of Chapin, SC and Darren Mosher and wife Dawn of New Zealand; a brother, Anton Osen, Jr., of Guilderland, NY, a sister, Judy Cossey-Brenz of Statesville, NC; she was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Gettle of Ilion; survivors also include her granddaughter, Daneal Thompson of Michigan; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be private. The family is receiving care and guidance from Daniel J. Enea, Director of Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131, to assist them with arrangements for cremation.
