Edwin F. "Ed" Gillen

Little Falls, NY-Mr. Edwin F. "Ed" Gillen, age 65, a longtime Little Falls resident, passed away on Thursday evening, May 7, 2020 at Rochester General Hospital following an illness.
Edwin worked for Grace Farm in Little Falls. He also did logging and was a very hard worker. Edwin is survived by his beloved companion, Catherine E. Travis of Little Falls. He is also survived by siblings, Pauline Worden, Reginald Jones, Dorothy Kring, Debbie Gillen and Diane and also survived by his son, Edwin Gillen, Jr and his daughter, Shauna Soderberg.
He also leaves Catherine's children, Stacey, Angel, Kenny and sister in law and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Tom along with many nieces nephews and grandchildren, that Ed loved and cherished very much. He was predeceased by his father, Edwin Gillen, Sr., mother, Loretta A. Jones and by his brother, Thomas Jones Jr. He was also predeceased by his step father, Thomas Jones, Sr.
In honoring the wishes of Mr. Gillen there are no services. Ed and his family's care has been entrusted to Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5 (corner of Bidelman Road), Little Falls, 315-508-5131.
