Gertrude Lillian Dougherty

Norway, NY-Mrs. Gertrude Lillian Dougherty, age 95, of the town of Norway, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 22, 2017 at the St. Luke's Home, New Hartford. She was born in Camden, NJ and married John Dougherty. They moved to Mount Holly, NJ and had five children: Jack (deceased), Mary (husband Gary Burruss), Kate, Richard (deceased) and Anne (husband Gary Koshland).  Survivors also include five grandchildren: Sara, Geneva, James, Tuan, and Carla.  After her husband died in 2009, Gertrude started staying with her daughter, Anne in NY part time. When her son passed away in 2016, she sold her home in Mount Holly and has stayed with Anne in New York permanently.    Burial in Doyle Vet Cemetery, Wrightstown NJ, with her husband, will take place in the fall.  Daniel J.
