Plainfield, NY-Jerry L. "Jed" Ladlee, II, age 48, of the town of Plainfield, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, on Friday evening, November 15, 2019, in the comfort of his home. Jerry was born on August 28, 1971 in Cooperstown, NY, son of the late Jerry L. Ladlee and Arla M. (Belmont) Ladlee of Leonardsville. He was employed for many years by his boss and friend Jerry Snyder and crew. Jerry's most cherished time was spent with his children and grandchildren and he was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and ride the trails, he was a teacher to many. A beloved son, father, grandfather, partner, brother and uncle he is survived by his best friend and soulmate, Tamara Zoller; his mother, Arla Ladlee; daughter, Jessica (Corey) Cyrus and Declan; sons, Jerry (Amber) Carson and Amelia, Jamie (Anna) Jackson; the mother of his children, Tracy Roth; his brother, Tom Ladlee; sisters, Juli Jones (Rich), Missy and Leon Davenport and is also survived by his very special nieces and nephews. The family would like to offer their gratitude to the staff at Bassett Oncology as well as the staff of Hospice of Otsego County for their care and compassion.
