Jeanne Berowski

Jeanne Berowski, age 71, loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away in the late hours of April 28 after courageously fighting a sudden illness.

Jeanne was born in 1952, in Brooklyn, to parents Margaret and Henry Hansen. She had one brother, 13 years her senior. In 1966, at only 14 years old, by a chance encounter at a public swimming pool she met the love of her life, Fred Berowski. They would become inseparable and enjoyed their time together immensely. They married on May 22, 1971, in Brooklyn, NY. They had many adventures together, and loved life. In 1986 they decided to move their small family from the city. They now called Middleville, NY home.

Jeanne was the epitome of what a loving wife and mother was. She worked hard both inside and outside the home, as well as continuing her education to achieve her associates degree. She was always there for her children and their friends who also called her mom! She was blessed with her first grandchild in December of 1995. She considered him, Fred III, more of a son as she raised him.

She is survived by her husband of almost 57 years (almost 52 years married), Fred; daughter, Ann (a very special son-in-law Jorden) Bauder; son, Rick (Andrea) Berowski; grandson, Fred III; granddaughters, Lily & Rose; grandson, Jack; great-granddaughters, Elaena & Aqua, and her niece, Cathy (and her family) who was more like a daughter to her. Jeanne was truly an amazing woman, who loved and cared deeply for family. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
