Jeanne M Goldstein
Mohawk, New York

Mrs. Jeanne M. Goldstein, age 83, of State Route 5s Mohawk, went home to heaven on Sunday January 2nd 2022, in her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Jeanne was born February 26, 1938 in Herkimer N.Y. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Delina Reinhardt. She graduated from Mohawk Central School in 1956 and had previously worked at Allegro Shoe Corp., W.T. Grants, and M.D.S.

On September 30th 1961 she married her loving and devoted husband Ronald. Jeanne’s true love was taking care of her husband, children, and grandchildren. In her younger years, she enjoyed planting Irises, making pine cone wreaths, and sewing beaded ornaments. As she grew older, she would often be found sitting at the dining room table either building a jigsaw puzzle or doing her “Doodle Book” (word search book). She also found great pleasure in watching the birds in her bird feeder.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald A. Goldstein Sr., a son, Ronald and his wife Norma of Mohawk, two daughters, Lisa Bennett and her husband Daniel of Little Falls, and Lori Tero and her husband William of Herkimer. Her grandchildren; Kevin Goldstein, Keith (Shelby) Goldstein, Eric Bennett, Lauren Bennett, Daniel Bennett, Abigail Tero, Justin Tero, and a great grandson Dax Goldstein. She is also survived by two sisters, Janice Johnson of Mohawk, and Joan Hailston of Richfield Springs. Besides her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her siblings; Joyce, Richard, Harold, and Louis. Also a special friend Carol Vadney and her beloved dog, Sheba.

The family would like to thank Dr. Eagala and staff at M.V.H.S. Herkimer and Dr. Manu, Tracey Federico, and the staff at M.I.B.H. Cooperstown S.C.U. A special thank you to Michele, who helped care for Jeanne during her last days.

Jeanne and her family's care has been placed in the trust of Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, Little Falls (corner of Bidleman Road), 315-508-5131. In keeping with Jeanne’s wishes services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider and send a memorial donation in Jeanne’s honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
