Herkimer/Little Falls, NY-Jeanne L. Miller, 72, of Herkimer, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3rd, in the comfort of the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Jessica (Grande) and Michael Farber, after a valiant battle with cancer. Jeanne was born in Ilion, NY on January 3rd, 1948, to the late Charles J. Miller and Jane B. (Alexander) Miller. She graduated from Herkimer High School, “Class of 1966”. She later attended Fulton-Montgomery Community College earning an Associate in Applied Sciences degree in 1989. Jeanne held numerous office positions during her younger years. She eventually ventured into owning and operating her own business providing bookkeeping and accounting services for local businesses over the last 19 years. Special thanks to Hanna Construction/CNY Construction and Tioga Construction companies for their unwavering support and generosity over the years. Jeanne was blessed with the gift of creativity. She was a talented seamstress often participating with her daughter in local craft shows. She was a loving and devoted grandmother to her two granddaughters and found endless joy in watching the girls participate in sporting events, concerts, and plays. Jeanne loved sharing her artistic abilities with the girls and was always creating something fun. She was immensely proud of her granddaughters and leaves behind many beautiful memories. She enjoyed the company of her two cats, Prince and Jazz and loved working on Sudoku puzzles while watching HGTV. She was an integral part of the planning group for her class reunions. She cherished her breakfast gatherings with longtime friends sharing endless laughter over the years. She is survived by her son Richard Grande of Colorado; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Michael Farber of Little Falls; and granddaughters, Abigail and Madison Farber of Little Falls. Her eight siblings, Stephen Miller of Ilion; James and Patty Miller of Newport; Richard and Ann Kirkum of Ontario, NY; Carol Kirkum of Pennsylvania; Jane and Saverio Lombardo of Ilion; Debbie Duteau of Ilion; Pam and John Bowers of Oppenheim; and Michael Terenzetti of Vermont, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Christine Miller in 2006; and Virginia Bajhean in 2017. The family extends gratitude to Dr.’s Koussa and Ramovic along with At Home Care and Hospice & Palliative Care for the servicesvprovided.
