John T. Antonuk

John Antonuk, age 70, of Cold Brook (Town of Russia), peacefully entered our Lord's Kingdom on June 22, 2024. 

John was born on November 20, 1953 the son of the late John and Marion (Thomas) Antonuk. He was educated in Utica and a graduate of Thomas R. Proctor School, in June of 1972. After multiple transitions from New York Telephone to NYNEX to Bell Atlantic to Verizon, John, who was called "the phone man" retired to spend more time with the love of his life, Henrietta "Riki" (Panuccio) Antonuk, who passed away on May 6, 2020. He was an avid outdoorsman and never missed an opportunity to spend time with his family or his dogs.

John is survived by his five sons, Jon-Vincent (and Erin),Joshua (and Chamar), Justin, Jeremy, and Jesse Antonuk as well as seven grandchildren. His sister Gail Antonuk Gnatek of Whitesboro and several nieces and nephews.

John and his family's care has been entrusted to Daniel J. Enea-Director at Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, Little Falls, 315-508-5131.
