Judith A. (Snell) Jones

Mrs. Judith A. "Judy" Jones, age 63, of Bidleman Road, Little Falls passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown.

She was born in Little Falls on August 27, 1959, daughter of the late Ellsworth and Sylvia (Cromer) Snell and educated in Little Falls schools.  Judith was united in marriage with Wayne C. Jones on Aug. 26, 1978 in Fort Plain; a union of 44 years.  She was last employed with The Hartford Insurance Company.  

Judy enjoyed gardening and also rides on the motorcycle. She loved animals, especially her own cats and dogs.  Above all else, Judy cherished her family and spending time with them.  Her nature and spirit made her a role model for her entire family, and her focus was always on the happiness and well-being of those she loved.

Survivors include her husband Wayne of Little Falls; her daughter, Nicole Jones of Little Falls; four brothers, Kevin Snell (Jill) of Inghams Mills, Dean Snell (Anita) of Little Falls, Dana Snell (Pam) of Little Falls and Wayne Snell (Bonnie) of St. Johnsville; many nieces, nephews and cousins; in laws, Bruce Jones (Susie) and Joanne Patrie.  She was preceded in death by a sister in law, Carole Jones.

 

The family will receive relatives and friends at Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5 (between Little Falls and St. Johnsville), Town of Manheim, 315-508-5131 on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 5-7 pm.  Judith's funeral will commence at 10 am on Saturday, March 25th from Inghams Mills Baptist Church, 439 Inghams Mills Road, Little Falls with the Rev. Gary Busch, pastor, officiating.  Spring burial will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills.
