Kenneth J. "Ken" Zuis

Mr. Kenneth J. “Ken” Zuis, age 63, of Ilion, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday morning, September 6, 2024.

He was the son of the late Edmund J. Zuis and Irene E. (Pett) Zuis. He shared 21 years of his life with his wife and loving partner, Corinne Zuis. Ken served our country proudly in the US Army. He took great pride in his work at Remet, Utica where he shared his knowledge of investment casting and mentored many people along the way. Ken was an ever-present and all loving father to his children and family members. You could always count on Ken.

Survivors include his mother, Irene, his wife, Corinne, his children, Joshua, Aaron (Lauren), and Amanda (Jessie), siblings, Laura (Dean), Sandy (Ted), Sharon (Lee), Ed (Cathy), he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Bonnie. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Amanda (Matt), Tony (Sarah), Shantelle, Jonathan, Edmund and Hope, all of which have their own “Uncle Ken” story.

A special shout out to his lifelong friends at the Mohawk “Do Nothing” Club (MDNC).

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Daniel J.
