Mr. Kenneth L. Youker, age 63, of Spring Hill, FL, and originally from Salisbury Center, NY, passed away peacefully from complications of Multiple Sclerosis (M.S), on Sunday evening, February 27, 2022 in the comfort of his home in Spring Hill FL. He was in the comfort of his wife Dawn's arms, at the time of his passing.
Ken was born in Ft. Benning, GA on March 21, 1958 the only child of the late Ivan and Susie (Moshier) Youker. He was educated in schools in different parts of the world, due to his father’s travels through the military. Ken worked for many different companies throughout the Mohawk Valley. His passion was computers. He usually built his own computer to his specifications. If anyone in the family, had questions about them or needed a fix, they knew who to call.
He married Dawn (Jodway), (the true love of his life), on January 6th, 2019 after being together for 21 years, at the Fellowship Community Church in Spring Hill, FL with Pastor Derek Atkinson, officiating. Marrying Dawn was truly a memory that he cherished as they shared many special moments together. When they say that opposites attract, their picture was next to the definition. They recently celebrated their 3rd anniversary.
He was a United States Army Veteran, having proudly served from October 1976 to February 1978. Ken was an avid believer that we are not alone in this world! He had a favorite poster that shows a picture of a UFO with the saying “I Want To Believe” from his favorite TV series “X Files.”
Surviving him is the love of his life Dawn of Spring Hill, FL, his daughter, Renee (Chad) Hunt, and her children, a son, Lowell and his children, and a son Darryl, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.
