Kenneth Alan Newman

Johnstown, NY-Kenneth Alan Newman, of 105 North Perry Street, Johnstown, died on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the St. Johnsville Rehabilitation Center and Nursing Home, St. Johnsville, New York.  Ken was born in Flushing, New York on April 24, 1948. He had lived in Johnstown since 1989, and had previously lived in Albany; in Freeport, Long Island; and in Queens where he briefly served as an Assistant District Attorney. Although Ken had not practiced law since the 1980s, he never stopped thinking like a lawyer. Ken is survived by his wife, Ellen S. Ross of Johnstown, New York;  his daughter, Rebecca Newman Wrobel of Gloversville, New York; his grandson, Zachary Wrobel of Johnstown, New York; his older brother Richard Newman, of New York City; his niece, Wendi Newman, of New York City; and his younger brother Robert Newman and sister-in-law Linda Restivo Newman, of Providence, R.I. He was predeceased by his parents, John Newman and Phyllis Jonas Newman.
