Mr. Larry G. Boepple, 84, a longtime Danube resident, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, December 26, 2023 at Alpine Nursing and Rehab, Little Falls.  He was in the presence of his loving family when his passing occurred.

He was born on August 17, 1939, son of the late Burton W. and Mella R. Boepple and he received his education in Little Falls Schools.  He was united in marriage to Patricia M Coveleski on Sept 12, 1959.  Mrs. Boepple passed away on July 8, 2019.  He owned and operated Larry’s Service Center and gas station in the Town of Little Falls.  He served as Dog Control Officer for the Town of Danube. Together, with his wife, they operated Misty Mountain Dairy Farm for several years. He was later employed with PC Haines in Pennsylvania as a job supervisor of construction sites, until his retirement in 2010.  

Larry enjoyed motorcycles, old cars, tractors, horses and raising white doves, small animals and sharing a cup of coffee and a “bull” session with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisha Brown and her husband Rusty, his son, Anthony (Tony) Boepple and his wife Cara (Mosher) all of Newville, his sister, Lany Bladek, brother, Robert T. Boepple and his wife Karin, brother, Frank Fox and sister-in-law, Delores Coveleski, his grandchildren, Jason Thayer (Jamie Blunt), Jared Thayer and his wife Dani, Dylan Boepple and his fiancé Ashley Bunce, Jessica Brown, Jennifer Angle and Jonathan Brown, his great grandchildren, Aurora Boepple, Shaunna Thayer, Taylor Thayer, and Emma Jones and several nieces and nephews.  Besides his wife Patricia M. Boepple in 2019, he was predeceased by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Burton & Darleen Boepple, Henry Wilson, William Bladek, Joseph Coveleski, Stanley and Santa Rose Coveleski and family members, Corrine & Joseph Short.

In keeping with his wishes, there are no public services.  The family owned Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131 has been entrusted with his funeral arrangements.  The family would like to offer their gratitude to the entire staff at Alpine Nursing and Rehab for their kindness and compassion.  Kindly send a memorial contribution in Larry's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
