Linda M. Miller, 81, of Ilion, passed away peacefully, Wednesday morning, December 9, 2020, in the Alpine Rehab and Nursing Center, Little Falls, following an illness.

She was born May 23, 1939, in Otselic, NY, the daughter of the late William and Nellie Salisbury Swartfiguer. In 1958, Linda married Donald J. Miller.

Linda’s greatest joy was time spent with family. She and her husband, Donald spent 62 years of marriage together. Linda enjoyed celebrating Christmas with her family faithfully every year. She would host Christmas Eve for many years and spend many days planning for this special occasion.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, doing puzzles and reading. Linda had fond memories of all the family barbecues over the years. Spending time with family meant so much to her. She was loved by so many people. Linda had a kind caring heart and will be missed by all.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Donald; her daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Gilbert Ayala of Clermont, FL and Deanna and Ronald Decker of Mohawk; her sons and daughter-in-law, Dale and Elena Miller of Sicily and David Miller and his significant other, Heather Polley of Ilion; her daughter-in-law, Carol Miller of Herkimer; her grandchildren, Jamie, Melissa, Jennifer, Steven, Anthony, Brian, Brett, Brittany, Ericka, Misha and Nikita; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Anthony, Kensleigh, Wyatt, Koaltyn, Lillian, Leann, Brady and Gabriel; and her sister-in-law, Pamela Miller. She was predeceased by her brothers, William Swartfiguer and Roger Swartfiguer; her sisters, Dora Tulloch, Jean Bittner and Carol Jones; her son, Donald J. Miller, Jr.; her grandson, Brandon King and her great granddaughter, Peyton Fresco.

Linda’s services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donation’s in her memory, may be offered to the American Red Cross by visiting www.redcross.org.

Linda and her family’s care have been placed in the trust of Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, Little Falls. 315-508-5131.
