Linda C. Pratt

Linda C. Pratt, age 82, of Cedarville, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 21, 2023 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY with loved ones by her side.

Linda was born on May 4, 1941, in Herkimer, NY, daughter of the late William C. and Clara V. (Waterbury) Pratt and educated in Herkimer. She retired from the State of New York as a PEF representative.

In her retirement, Linda enjoyed time with family and volunteering with America Reads program, Hospice, and Herkimer County Historical Society. Linda was also a huge part of 1959 high school class reunions, which she enjoyed spending time with her classmates. She was a world traveler, not just in retirement, but throughout her life. Linda loved her family, friends, and all her wonderful cats (and other wild animals).

Survivors include her brother, William G. Pratt and spouse Dollie, brother, James M. Pratt, nephew, William J. Pratt and spouse Toni Ann, niece, Michele (Pratt) Febus and spouse Keith, niece, Sarah (Pratt) Alkinburgh and spouse Dale, niece, Jessica (Pratt) Coe and spouse Phil, nephew, Josh Pratt, nephew, Aaron Pratt and niece, Heather Ebril, niece, Abby (Pratt) Hight and spouse Kevin and nephew, Reuben Pratt. Linda also has many great nieces and nephews,  a great, great nephew and niece, cousins, many friends, and special friends Robert and Una Couture and Dot Flurry.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will commence on Monday, Sept. 25, 2023 at 11 am Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
