Herkimer, NY-After a courageous battle with cancer, Lonnie Richard "Black" Durham, age 39, of Steuben Hill Road, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica. Lonnie was born on February 26, 1980 in Queens, NY and was self-employed. He attended schools in Woodside, Queens, NY and recently moved to Herkimer on Steuben Hill Road. Lonnie's favorite color was red. He loved being a big brother, listening to music and his cat, "trouble". Survivors include his cherished daughter, Lonieriah; brothers, Andre Durham and Daniel Connors; wife, Kelly Jean Durham of Little Falls, father, the late Richard Mouzon and mother, Darlene (Major) Romain of VA, step father, Aerelio Romain; his grandparents, Frank and Betty Durham of NYC; many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to thank Lonnie's special friend, Adele Richards and his special cousin, Brandon Cooke for their care and compassion shown to Lonnie. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service commencing at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019 from the chapel of MVFC and to pay their respects also on Friday from 4 p.m until the time of the service.
