Margaret A. "Peg" (Urbiss) Metot

Margaret A. "Peg" (Urbiss) Metot, age 70 of Bronner Road, passed away on Wednesday morning, August 23, 2023 at the New Hartford Campus of the Mohawk Valley Health System with the love and support of her husband at her bedside.

She was born on July 7, 1953, daughter of the late John and Mary Grace Urbiss and graduated from the Little Falls High School, "Class of 1971".  On July 10, 1971 she was united in marriage with Timothy L. Metot in Monroe, Michigan, a loving union of 52 years.  She was last employed at RCIL, Herkimer as an aide and loved her work here. Peg enjoyed to crochet and knit.  She loved the outdoors, camping and especially rides on her Harley Davidson.

Survivors include her husband, Tim of Little Falls; a son, Jeffrey Metot of Little Falls; a sister, Nancy Richards and husband Lynn of Little Falls and Ron Urbiss and wife Eileen of Little Falls; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond and Billy Urbiss.

In keeping with Peg's wishes, there are no scheduled calling hours or services.  Cremation will take place under the direction and care of the Little Falls owned Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5 (between St. Johnsville and Little Falls), 315-508-5131.
