Marion Louise Schmock

Mrs. Marion Louise Schmock, age 92, a lifelong Frankfort/Ilion resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, February 15, 2025, at Valley Health Services, Herkimer.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1932, in Ilion, daughter of the late Fred and Bertha (Ferguson) Fay and educated locally. She was united in marriage with Robert Schmock, Sr., who preceded her in death.

Marion is survived by her sons, Bob Schmock and Chris Schmock of MA; her grandchildren, Trevor and Nadia and by her daughter in law, Tania. She was a devoted follower of Christ and has always taken care of others inspired by her faith. She will be missed and always loved by her family, friends, and the lives she has touched with her kindness and light. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who are also grieving her passing. Marion's cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at the Utica International S.D.A Church, 1134 Herkimer Road, Utica, NY on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 2 pm. There are no calling hours.
