Mark Robert DiGeorgio, age 67, a native of Frankfort, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, October 26, 2024, with the love and support of his family, following a battle with cancer. His passing occurred at Valley Health Services, Herkimer.

Born in Frankfort on September 7, 1957, he was the son of the late Charles and Margaret (Berrus) DiGeorgio and educated in Frankfort-Schuyler schools. He attended Utica School of Commerce where he took classes in computer software. He was united in marriage with Jacqueline Ward of East Herkimer on Aug. 28, 1982, in Herkimer, a blessed union of 42 years. He was last employed with Castle Enterprises, Herkimer. Mark was also a substitute teacher throughout the valley, was a janitor for the Herkimer elementary school, worked for G and I Homes and also worked for the New York Railroad.

Mark loved antique cars, Chevy trucks and owned two corvettes and enjoyed attending cruise ins throughout the area. Faith came first in his life, and he was a true believer of God. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and walks with his grandson, Kenny, who he loved being a papa to. He loved his cats Nutmeg, and Buddy.

Survivors include his beloved family; his wife Jacqueline; his daughter, Amanda Allen and husband Kenneth Allen, III of Frankfort; grandson, Kenneth Allen, IV; two brothers, Mike DiGeorgio (Paula) of Frankfort, and Chuck DiGeorgio (Barb) of Ilion; his friends, Ronnie and Lonnie, Barb and Freddie, Harrison, Jim and Gabby, Jean, Val, Jack, and Donna; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father and his brother, Pat DiGeorgio.

There are no calling hours. Services will take place at a time to be announced at Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Daniel J. Enea-Director of owner operated Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131.
