Michael “Mikey” A. Proni - Utica Michael Anthony Proni, 62, of Utica, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at his residence.He was born on May 7, 1957, the son of Mary Lesjka Proni and the late William Proni, Sr. Mikey enjoyed spending his time in the work shop at the ARC, Oneida Lewis Chapter and with his friends at the Gilmore Place residence. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Mikey is survived by his mother, Mary, his siblings and their spouses, William and Marilyn Proni, Jr. of New Hartford and Rose and John “Jack’ Lynch of Ilion; his nieces and nephews, Dr. Frederick and Terrie Proni of Hickory, NC, Paul and Marcia Lynch of Ilion and Lindsay and Robert Jordan of New York Mills; his great nieces and nephews, Lincoln and Payton Lynch and Jemma, Jayla and Janeva Jordan. Mikey’s funeral will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 16, 2019 at Ukrainian Catholic Church of St. Volodymyr the Great, 4 Cottage Place, Utica, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Very Rev. Michael Bundz. Interment will follow in Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery of St. Volodymyr where he will be laid to rest on the family plot. There will be no public visitation.
