Milford Sidney Sid Ford

Poland/Utica, NY- Mr. Milford Sidney "Sid" Ford, age 64, of Utica, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, March 11, 2019 at Siegenthaler Center, New Hartford.  At the time of his passing, he was in the comfort of his loving wife, Donna. He was born on Oct. 16, 1954 in Albany, son of the late Pauline Atchinson and educated in Poland Central Schools.  On May 1, 2004 he was united in marriage with Donna Kulas Bascom in Poland, NY; a loving and devoted union of fourteen years.  He was last employed with Utica Hillcrest Manor Corporation in maintenance where he retired after many years of dedicated service.   Sid was an avid outdoorsman and loved snowmobiling and also rebuilding cars.  He was a talented woodworker and could create anything made from wood.  Sid loved nature and all of its creations.  He enjoyed being home and in the comfort of his beloved family. Survivors include his wife, Donna; his two sons, Anthony Ford of CA and Michael Ford of NY; special aunts and uncles, siblings, step-children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.   In keeping with his wishes, a private memorial service will be held in the spring of 2019 at the convenience of his family.  Family and friends will be notified when the service will take place.  For those considering, kindly send memorial offerings in his name to the Siegenthaler Center, 4277 Middle Settlement Rd., New Hartford, NY 13413 or to American Cancer Society, 110 Lomond Ct., Utica, NY 13502.
