Mohawk, NY-Mrs. Florence G. "Flo" Aloisio, age 78, of S. Washington St., Mohawk, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, December 28, 2018 at Albany Medical Center. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by the love and support of her family. She was born on January 25th, 1940 in Herkimer, daughter of the late Joseph and Winnie (Barse) Volo and educated in Mohawk schools, graduating with the "Class of 1958". In her earlier years, she was employed with Martin Reel, Mohawk and Duofold. She was last employed with Lasalle Labs, Little Falls. She then worked full time as a nanny with her son, Mark in Ilion at White Glove Cleaners. Flo loved cooking. She also enjoyed watching television shopping networks. Her greatest enjoyment was the accomplishments of her two sons in business and their musical endeavors, following her sons band, Alpha Centori around the state. Mrs. Aloisio was a very social and giving person. Her family was paramount in her life always putting the needs of her loved ones first and foremost and was a tremendous part of her family members up bringing. She attended Blessed Sacrament Church, Mohawk and loved the Lord dearly. Survivors include her two beloved sons, Mark D. Aloisio and Steven L. Aloisio of Mohawk; sisters, Sheila Jones of FL and Alicia Volo of Ilion, a brother, Vern Volo and wife Becky of Mohawk; her cherished grandchildren, Alex Aloisio of Lakeland, FL, Steven and Stephanie Aloisio of Schuyler, and Mark Aloisio, Jr., of Little Falls; beloved family, Jennifer and Ronnie Bull, Erica and Paul Miscione, Janelle and Steven Roginski, Debbie and Brad Bently, Amy (Coto) Aloisio, Peter Aloisio, Jr., Debbie Aloisio, Georgiene Aloisio, Linda Aloisio and Lori Aloisio, as well as many great nieces and nephews; beloved lifelong friends, Lillian Nicolette, Marilyn White, Sarah McEvoy Aloisio, Sandy Marusic, Carolyn Smith and she was predeceased by her favorite daughter in law, Dawn R. Aloisio and special friend, Richard "Dick" Reardon. In lieu flowers, kindly consider memorial contributions to American Cancer Society or to the Arthritis Foundation. Enea, Owner), 7507 State Route 5, between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131, on Saturday, January 5, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. A service in celebration and remembrance of Mrs. Aloisio's life will commence at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Sister Mary Jo Tallman, officiating. Burial will take place at a later time in Mohawk Cemetery.
