Nellie Mae Chadeayne, age 49 of Hoefler Ave., passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday evening, March 10, 2021 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare.
She was born on April 22, 1971 in Ilion, daughter of the late Robert Phillips and Pearl Brownell of Little Falls and Nellie was educated in Little Falls schools. She was joined in marriage with David Chadeayne, IIII on Nov. 30, 1996 at Assembly of God Church, Little Falls with the Rev. Daniel Parisi, pastor, officiating. The couple recently celebrated 27 years of marriage. She was employed as a private healthcare nurse and truly loved what she did and dedicated many hours to taking care of others.
She was very proud of her Irish heritage. Nellie loved the outdoors and enjoyed riding on her husbands Harley Davidson. She loved her sunflowers and the great outdoors. Nellie had a contagious smile and laugh, she made friends easily and kept them for life. She lit up the room when she walked in and was the life of the party. She was well-respected for telling it like it was and will be remembered for making a huge impact on the lives of all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Family came first in her life and held each of her loved ones close to her heart, especially her grandsons.
Survivors include her cherished family; her husband, David of Ilion; her mother, Pearl of Little Falls; her children, Ashley Miller and husband Ryan of Ilion, Bryan Phillips and fiance Kayla Piper of Ilion and Brittani Chadeayne and Andrew Harrington of Frankfort; her siblings, Debra Isom and husband Mike of FL, Dawn Beers and husband Warren of Little Falls, Edie Marino and Jack Korce of Mohawk, Tom Brownell and wife Pauline of Little Falls and Brian Brownell of Little Falls; cherished grandchildren, Aiden Ryan Miller, Chase Alexander Miller, Cecelia Rose, Linken Maverick Phillips, Ryker McCoy Phillips and Grayson David; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Also surviving is her beloved canine companion, Echo.
A celebration of Nellie's life will take place at Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5 (corner of Bidleman Road and Route 5) between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131, commencing Tuesday, March 16th, at 6 pm with the Rev. Timothy Parisi, pastor of First Assembly of God Church, Little Falls officiating. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the funeral home also on Tuesday from 4-6 pm, prior to the service. Burial will be private.
