Little Falls, NY-Mr. Raymond N. "Ray" Congdon, age 77, of Loomis Street, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, Feb. 1, 2017 at Little Falls Hospital, in the presence of his entire loving family. He leaves his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth (Doxtader) Congdon at home; sons, Kenneth Congdon, Joshua (Korri) Congdon; his daughters, Christine Doxtader, Lori (Robert) Ballou, Cynthia Congdon and her companion Stan Jasewicz and Amanda Congdon; grandchildren, Aaron, Tiffany, Eric, Zachary, Kylie, Devin, Joshua, Jr., Isaac and Owen; great grandchildren, Theo and Aadin; his brothers, Donald (Joan) Congdon, Earl (Gerry) Congdon, Freddie (Tet) Congdon; his sisters, Lois (David) Weber, Myrtle (Robert) Fuhs, Edie Sheehan; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Clarence Congdon, his mother, Lillian Congdon and his brother in law, Bill Sheehan. An avid garage salesman, Raymond has a passion for seeking out a sale and getting a great deal. He often enjoyed going out for a car ride with his wife and the family dog, princess Congdon. Raymond will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, aides and staff at Little Falls Hospital for their hospitality and compassion. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a memorial service commencing at 11 am on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 7274 State Route 10, Ames, NY with Pastor Todd Locier, officiating.
