Raymond Platto - Utica and Brooklyn Raymond Platt, 72, of Utica and Brooklyn, passed away, Saturday, January 25, 2020, at the Masonic Care Community. He was born on July 13, 1947, in the Bronx, the son of the late Samuel and Evette "Yetta" Littman Platto and was educated in New York City schools. Ray was a proud and dedicated officer and member of the Free and Accepted Mason. His devotion led him to his career where he was employed with the Grand Masonic Lodge, located in Brooklyn, for many years. Upon his retirement, brought him to the Utica area where he was extremely active with the Masonic Care Community and eventually became a resident. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Irene Platto; his nephews, Scott and Jeffrey Platto, all of New Jersey. He also leave behind his many brothers and friends he made through his life long dedication to serving the Masons. Ray's funeral was held at the Synagogue of the Masonic Care Community, Utica, with Cantor Kal Socolof, officiating. Internment followed in the Masonic Lodge Cemetery. Ray and his family's care have been entrusted to Jacobson-Pizer Funeral Chapel. (315)797-9121
