Richard Norman Butler, Jr., age 58, of Herkimer, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, February 17th, 2022 at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Little Falls.
He is survived by his daughter, Amelia Butler, mother, Sherily, stepfather, Joe from Georgia, a sister, Helen, a very special friend Kathy, and his church family at First United Methodist Church of Herkimer. He was predeceased by his brother, Chris and wife, Teresa. Rich gave us seven years of serving his country with the US Navy. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, football and you would always see him with his cup of coffee, lending a hand wherever he could.
Services will be private and at the convenience of his family and friends. Arrangements for cremation have been placed under the direction and care of Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5, Little Falls (corner of Bidleman Road), 315-508-5131.
