Roselyn Ruth Turi, 89, of West Winfield, passed away on Tuesday morning, October 12, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica, with her family at her side.
She was born on July 24, 1932, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Harvie and Germaine Davis. She was united in marriage with Charles Anthony Turi on May 16, 1953, who predeceased her. They had 7 Children.
She received her education in New Jersey, graduating from Ramsey High School and received an Associate Degree from Bergen Community College.
Survivors include six adored children, Richard Turi and wife, Cici, her daughter Yanan, and her grandson, Alex, of New York, Regina Turi, of New Jersey, Theresa Turi, of New Jersey, Charles Turi and wife, Mimi, and their children, Ruth’s grandchildren, Eleanor Ruth and Charles III, of New Jersey, Paul Turi and wife, Eve, of Florida and John Turi, of New York. Roselyn’s adored 4th child, Damian Turi, of New Jersey, predeceased her, his wife Patricia survives him.
Also surviving Ruth include her brother, Richard Davis and wife, Betty Anne, of Illinois; and her dedicated friend and caregiver of nine years, Diane Crimmins, of Little Falls, NY.
Ruth was preceded in death by her brother, Harvie, Jr. and her twin brother, Arthur.
