Roxanne Lynn Shipman-Hull

West Winfield, NY-Roxanne Lynn Shipman-Hull, age 48, a lifelong West Winfield resident, passed away peacefully with her canine companion, Penelope, at her side in the town of Plainfield, NY. Roxanne is survived by her two sons, Cody James Hull (Schylar) of West Winfield and Jeremiah Bernard Hull (Erika Parker) of Utica. Her Parents, Bernard & Kathleen Shipman of West Exeter, Brothers Richard Shipman (Margie Bortz) of Harrisburg, James Drake (Lori)of Ilion, and Matthew Drake (Amanda Whisman)of West Winfield. She was predeceased by her brother, Shannon Lee Shipman, paternal grandmother Lillian Shipman and maternal grandmother, Ida Berberich.  Roxanne is also survived by a huge family who loved her tremendously, and a wealth of friends, along with her former husband, Robert Hull. Roxanne graduated from Mt. Markham Central Schools, and finished her degree from University of Phoenix, Arizona. Roxanne worked at the Springbrook home caring for the special needs residents with great love. She was an avid fan of the New York Giants and had a great love for music including Old Country & The Grateful Dead. Roxanne loved to do crafts, write poems and her adventurous drives on the countryside. (Guess where I am?).  She had a great love for animals which included her beloved dog and canine companion Penelope along with her cats, Frankie and Timmy. The family would like to specially thank the Otsego County Sheriffs Office and Investigators, the numerous law enforcement agencies, first responders and countless family members, friends, and volunteers for all their assistance during our time of need. Thank you everyone for all the love, support and prayers for our family.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the go-fund me page set up in her memory, or a Suicide prevention program of your choice in her memory. Penelope’s care has been entrusted to Waterville Veterinarian Clinic, 7838 Madison St, Waterville, NY Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a memorial celebration of Roxanne’s life from 2-6 p.m. at the West Winfield Firehouse, 373 W. Main St., West Winfield, NY on Sunday, November 3, 2019.  There are no calling hours. Burial will be private.
