Oppenheim, NY-Ryan David Ortlieb, age 46, of Sweet Hill Road, town of Oppenheim, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford, New York. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Little Falls on October 20th, 1972, son of the late Richard Ortlieb who passed away on Dec. 26, 2017 and Monica (Mocko) Ortlieb of Newport. He was united in marriage with his high school sweetheart, Michelle Oeser on June 14, 1997, at the Lutheran church, Dolgeville. Ryan received his education in Dolgeville Central School, graduating with the "Class of 1991". He was currently employed with Comstock's Logging and Saw Mill Supplies, Dolgeville. Ryan was a jack of all trades. He especially loved working on and restoring cars. His favorite was his 1977 Chrysler Cordoba that he cherished. Ryan's favorite saying was "Mopar or no car". His favorite times were spent joy riding in his vehicles and car cruising. Ryan cherished the moments spent with his beloved family and many friends. Ryan was a very giving and generous man who was always willing to drop everything to offer help to his family and friends who needed it. He will be sadly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known him. Survivors include his beloved family; his wife Michelle at home; his mother, Monica; his three adored sons, Trevor Ortlieb, Jordan Ortlieb and Aidan Ortlieb, all of Dolgeville; his siblings, Richard Ortlieb and wife Stacey of Dolgeville, Kevin Ortlieb of Herkimer, Tracy Ortlieb and Doug Lupino of Fairfield; in laws, Deborah Lewis, Albert Oeser and wife Donna, Sherri Oeser, Albert Oeser and friend Anne, Stacy and Tim Tesiero, Carrie Kretser and Shawn; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends including Brad and Sandy Allen, Wade Allen and Teresa Sullivan, Wayne and Elaine Allen. The Ortlieb family would like to offer their deepest gratitude to those who took part in Ryan's care during this difficult time and all of the many family members and friends who have checked in, offered food and donations during this time.
