HERKIMER - Shararhonda Lynn Hall, age 38, a lifelong Mohawk Valley resident, passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2025 at Wynn Hospital in Utica.
Born on June 29, 1986, Shararhonda is the daughter of George Getchell and Katrina Erb. She was raised and educated in Little Falls schools. She spent her working years in nursing and was a provider of in-home healthcare. In her free time she could often be found outdoors; fishing, hiking and four wheeling. She also enjoyed crafts and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her husband, Matt Hall; her daughters, Ashlee Hall and Alex Hall; her mother, Katrina Erb; her father, George Getchell; her sisters, Jeanine Erb and Hazel Burgher; her brother-in-law, James Burgher; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea, Ciaccia & Applegate funeral directors. Online notes of sympathy may be left at www.mohawkvalleyfunerals.com .
