Susan Florian

Susan A. Florian, age 66, of Gloversville, NY passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, at Ellis Hospital in Amsterdam, NY.

Susan was born on May 21, 1960, in Ilion, NY to the late Prosper and Mary (Tyo) Vennera. Susan graduated from Herkimer High School, class of 1978. At one time, she was married to Robert Florian, who passed away in 1992. Susan spent over 22 years working for Cumberland Farms in Nelliston and Gloversville, where she worked as an assistant manager.

Susan had a loving, creative spirit; she loved to paint and do puzzles as often as she could. She also loved swimming and spending time with her dearest family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved sons; Allen Florian (Alisha) and Randy Conrad, her beloved canine companion, Bella, her sister, Sally Long , brother, Jim Vennera (Karen) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides her parents, and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Michael Vennera and brother-in-law, David Long.

There will be no public funeral services. Her family will hold a celebration of her life at a later date where they will honor her life privately.
