Susan I. (Looman) Vesp

Oppenheim, NY- Susan I Vesp, of Teidman Rd, passed away on Monday morning, June 19, 2017, after losing a courageous battle with cancer, with her loving family by her side. Susan was born in Little Falls, New York on May 6, 1958 and she attended Dolgeville Central School and has lived in the Dolgeville/Oppenheim area her entire life. Susan enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, She also enjoyed the outdoors camping, swimming and Barbecuing.  She was a special person and truly will be missed by all who knew her.  Susan is survived by her daughter, Lisa Schuyler of Gloversville; granddaughter, Chantellle Lynch and Kevin Murray of Dolgeville, grandson Christopher Schuyler of Oppenheim, grandson Caiden Loveless, granddaughters Chelsey Schuyler, Shian Harmon, Rebecca Phillips and great-granddaughter Leah Murray; her sisters, Connie and Rob Pollard of Stratford, Lorie Klawonn and Chris Ferguson of Dolgeville; nephews and nieces, Adam Klawonn, Nicole Petteys, Jason Pollard and Julie McLaughlin; some special friends, Al Reynolds, Wayne Doxtator, Joanne Belcher, Salina Jaikin, Samantha Jaikin and Melinda Harmon. A special thank you to those that helped to provide her care. Susan is predeceased by her son, Jeremy Schuyler, father, Leroy Looman, mother, Elsie (Congdon) Looman, her grandmothers Ruth Looman and Isabella Congdon, grandfathers, Augusta Looman and William Congdon and by a sister, Rolene Looman and brother, Randy Looman. In keeping with Susan's wishes there will be no Formal calling hours or funeral, a celebration of life will be held on Sunday June 25th 2017 at her sister Lorie's house at 32 Elm Street in Dolgeville.  In lieu of floral offerings, please consider a memorial contribution to Mountain Valley Hospice,108 Steele Ave Gloversville, NY12078.  Daniel J. Enea Funeral and Cremation Care, 5860 State Route 5 (near St. Mary's Cemetery), 315-508-5250 is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
