Tammy Lynn Congdon

October 1, 1966 — November 6, 2018

Little Falls, NY-Tammy Lynn Congdon, age 52, of Little Falls, beloved daughter of Donald and Joan Congdon, passed away on Tuesday morning, Nov. 6, 2018, following a valiant battle with breast cancer.  At the time of her passing, which occurred at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, she was in the comfort and care of her loved ones. Tammy was born on October 1st, 1966 in Little Falls, daughter of Donald and Joan McGowan Congdon of Little Falls and educated in Little Falls schools.  She was employed for nearly six years at the Herkimer Wal-Mart as a cashier.  Tammy was a huge New England Patriot fan and Tom Brady's biggest fan.  She enjoyed attending garage sales.   Tammy is predeceased by her daughter, Nichole Schuyler who passed away on September 15, 2018.  She leaves her parents, Donald and Joan of Little Falls; two cherished grandchildren, Allison Schuyler and Jerry Lords, III; eleven siblings, Ann Marie Mika of Herkimer, Donald B. Congdon and wife Brenda of Little Falls, Theresa Vrooman and husband John of Hampton, VA, Lynn Pope of Little Falls, Nadine Pope of Little Falls, Jeffrey Congdon of Fultonville, NY, Brenda Pope and husband Bill of North Carolina, Brian Congdon and wife Debbie of Rochester, Colleen Congdon and Tom of North Carolina, Kevin Congdon and wife Melissa of Little Falls, Gregory Congdon and wife Nina of Little Falls; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Clarence and Lillian Congdon and maternal grandparents, Burton and Louis McGowan. Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5 (corner of Bidleman Road), town of Manheim, Little Falls-315-508-5131, has been entrusted with Tammy's wishes for funeral services.  Burial will take place in Curtis Cemetery, Salisbury, at the convenience of the family.  In Tammy's memory, kindly consider contributing to American Cancer Society, specifying breast cancer. Please click above to add to her online tribute.
