Theodore M. Ted Brown

April 29, 1963 — April 3, 2018

Syracuse, NY-Mr. Theodore M. "Ted" Brown, age 54, a lifelong Syracuse resident, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday morning, April 3, 2018 at Bishop Rehab in Syracuse. after a courageous brief battle with illnes. Ted was born on April 29, 1963 and is pre deceased by his father Robert W. Brown and his mother Dorothy M. Brown in 1974. He was also predeceased by a brother Tim Brown.  Ted is survived by his beloved sister Judy Galloway, whom provided love and support throughout his life and is also survived by his cherished companion cat “Hey You”, along by brothers Tom and Terry.  He worked for most of his professional career for the late Senator Martin Auer and his company Auer & Co. after attending Henninger High School in Syracuse, N.Y. and serving in the U.S. Army. A true sports fan, he enjoyed watching S.U. athletics, NY Giants football and Pittsburg Pirates baseball. He also enjoyed camping, playing Quick Draw at Danzers, Molson Canadian, Chinese food on a Saturday night, the company of his cat and a small group of lifelong friends.  Some of Ted’s dislikes were pretty much everything that is different to his routine, technology and almost everyone on this planet with the exception of a select few. As per Ted’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services and if any part of this offends anyone that means Ted is smiling. Mission accomplished.  He would like to thank his healthcare providers: St. Joe’s physicians group including wound care. Upstate Oncology and especially the truly amazing team of providers at Bishop Nursing and Rehabilitation.  Daniel J. Enea Funeral and Cremation, 5860 State Route 5 (near St. Mary's Cemetery), between Herkimer and Little Falls, 315-508-5250, has been entrusted with Ted's funeral arrangements.  Click above to add to the online memorial.
